‘The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.’
Carl Rogers, Founder of Person Centred Therapy
About Caro
For as long as I can remember, I’ve worked closely with people — children, young people, adults and families — through moments of distress, uncertainty and transition. This has given me decades of experience in sitting alongside people with empathy, clarity and genuine care. My work has included supporting people facing anxiety, overwhelm, low mood, relationship difficulties, trauma, family conflict, loss and the emotional impact of life events that stay with us. I also have specific experience supporting people with addiction in both individual and group settings.
My own life has included significant change and personal growth, and these experiences deeply influence the way I work. I know how frightening it can feel when life unravels, how isolating it is to carry our struggles alone, and how healing it can be when someone finally listens without judgement or expectation. Therapy works not through clever techniques, but through a steady, human connection, a space where you can be completely yourself.
My way of working your individuality, your pace, and the complexity of your inner world. Together, we can explore what feels difficult for you, what feels stuck, and what you long for most. Clients often tell me they feel calmer, more grounded, more confident, and better able to navigate their lives with greater clarity confidence and self-trust.
My approach is warm, relational and grounded in compassion. You don’t need to arrive with a plan, the right words, or an idea of where to start. You just need to come as you are. I’ll meet you there.
